On the afternoon of March 4, 2026, in Hai Phong, Hai Duong Medical Technical University will hold a working session with a delegation of experts from the Aijinkai Social Healthcare Group (Japan) to discuss solutions for improving the quality of rehabilitation services in Vietnam.

According to the plan approved in Official Dispatch No. 2105/VP-VX by the Hai Phong City People's Committee, the meeting will take place at the university's main administration building. The Japanese delegation consists of 06 experts, led by Mr. Ogaki Masanobu, Head of the Rehabilitation Department at Aijinkai Group, along with department heads, occupational therapists, and consultants.
The session will focus on two main objectives: (1) Sharing survey results: Announcing data from the program “Identifying needs to enhance medical services by strengthening rehabilitation techniques and systems in Vietnam”; (2) Training discussions: Exchanging ideas on human resource development activities for the rehabilitation specialty to meet the practical needs of the healthcare sector.
The cooperation between Hai Duong Medical Technical University and the Aijinkai Group carries several vital meanings:
- Improving Medical Service Quality: By accessing advanced Japanese rehabilitation techniques and systems, Vietnam gains a practical basis to improve treatment processes and quality for patients.
- Sustainable Human Resource Development: In-depth discussions on training help the university update international standards, thereby building a team of highly skilled rehabilitation technicians capable of meeting the rigorous requirements of modern medicine.
- Strengthening International Cooperation: The event reaffirms the long-term, trusting relationship between Vietnamese medical educational institutions and major Japanese healthcare groups, contributing to international integration in the medical field.
- Creating Future Projects: The results of this working session serve as a premise for international organizations or groups to deploy more programs and non-project cooperation projects in Hai Phong in the near future.
This event is a continuation of a series of survey activities at medical facilities initiated in November 2025. To ensure the program is conducted safely and in accordance with regulations, the Department of Foreign Affairs has led the coordination with the Department of Health and the City Police to guide the university in strictly implementing regulations on managing foreigners working in the city.
