Sparkling Beauty Like Diamonds Underground

Located deep within a large mountain, Hoa Cuong Cave impresses visitors right from its name due to the stalactite structures that shine like diamonds inside. The cave is approximately 100 meters long, with its widest point reaching up to 25 meters, and its rock walls emit a cool, refreshing breeze that provides a sense of relaxation and comfort as soon as visitors step into the entrance. Inside the cave is a wonderful world of nature's sculptures with countless stalactites in the shapes of people, animals, or giant hanging curtains. According to legend, thanks to its cool climate and charming scenery, this place was once a frequent playground for Kings along with Princes and Princesses.

Fairytale Lake and Fascinating Legends

The most special highlight in the heart of the cave is a clear, sweet water lake where white pebbles are clearly visible at the bottom. Local people in Gia Luan pass down the story that the girls in this region possess fair skin because they frequently bathe in the water from this lake. When light shines in, the stalactites and stalagmites reflect on the lake's surface, reflecting sparkling spots like blooming flowers, making visitors feel as if they are in a paradise on earth.

100,000-Year Archaeological Mark

Beyond its aesthetic value, Hoa Cuong Cave is also an important landmark on the historical research map. Here, scientists have excavated and discovered a fossilized tooth of an ancient ape dating back about 100,000 years. This discovery is important evidence demonstrating the very early existence of ancient apes in Vietnam, making Hoa Cuong Cave a "red address" for historical research travel journeys on Cat Ba Island.
